No, your entered texts are not stored on our servers or shared with third parties. Text analysis occurs locally in your browser and via secure, temporary connections to our AI services. Your privacy is our top priority.

Text2Voca supports text analysis in German (DE), English (EN), Spanish (ES), and French (FR). The user interface (UI) is available in German (DE), English (EN), Spanish (ES), French (FR), and Korean (KR). We plan to add more languages in the future.

Text2Voca is a browser-based web application that is fully responsive and can therefore be used seamlessly on any device – including smartphones and tablets – via your web browser. A dedicated mobile app is planned for future development.

On the results page, your text is displayed again. When you click the button, words are highlighted in color according to their grammatical category (e.g., nouns, verbs, adjectives, etc.). Even uncolored words can be clicked to reveal their part of speech. This feature is powered by spaCy and is fully available for Basic, Plus, and Premium users. In the Free and Guest versions, only the first 25 % of words are highlighted.

In the 'Overview' tab, word and character counts are based on the visible user input — the text exactly as entered. The word length distribution and part-of-speech counts also follow this 'human' logic. The lemma statistics, however, use spaCy’s linguistic logic: only alphabetic tokens are counted, stopwords are excluded, and unknown or non-lemmatizable tokens ('--') are ignored. This may cause small differences between the numbers.

This preserves authentic language exposure without translation distortion.\n\n**Do I need a specific subscription?**\nSmart Video Digest is available in all plans. The monthly minutes vary depending on your plan, and Basic/Plus/Premium users can purchase additional minutes as add-ons.\n\n**What about longer videos?**\nFor longer videos, Text2Voca adds structure helpers such as a mindmap that shows how topics are connected.

Yes. Video analyses require at least 3 minutes of video. Text analyses require a minimum of 100 characters. These limits ensure that the analysis remains meaningful.

Your quota is only deducted when the analysis is fully displayed. If a technical interruption occurs or no transcript is available—for example, with some YouTube videos—nothing will be deducted.

Inclusive monthly quotas reset every month and cannot be carried over. Purchased quotas remain valid indefinitely until used. They only expire if the subscription or account is cancelled.

You can upgrade at any time. To downgrade, cancel your current subscription and choose a new plan once the current billing period has ended.

Yes. In the Basic, Plus, and Premium plans you can purchase add-on packages in units of 50,000 characters or 50 minutes. Simply select the quantity to reach the total you need. Add-ons are not available in the Lite plan.
